SWEET POTATO BROWNIES
If you haven't tried making your brownies with sweet potatoes yet, you truly are missing out. But don't worry, because we have the perfect recipe for you to give them a try, and they won't dissapoint. Our Sweet Potato Brownies taste fudgy, chocolatey, and just enough sweet without making it too empoyering. Plus, they're healthy and high in protein.
Here's how you can make them :
Ingredients (9 brownies)
- 1 large sweet potato
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cups greek yoghurt
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 scoops Double Chocolate Whey Protein
- 3/4 cup cacao powder
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350F ;
- Use a fork to poke holes in the sweet potato. Microwave for 4 minutes, flip, and microwave for another 2-4 minutes. Let cool, peel and mash ;
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed sweet potato, eggs, yoghurt, applesauce, and vanilla extract ;
- Once well combined, add the dry ingredients and mix until smooth ;
- Line a square baking dish with parchment paper and pour the batter in ;
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, let cool, and cut into 9 even squares ;
- Enjoy!
