HIGH PROTEIN FROZEN COOKIE DOUGH BITES
Calling all our cookie dough enthusiasts : be ready to discover your new favourite summer snack. Not only does this recipe taste like a cookie dough hard serve ice cream, it also is packed with 54g of protein AND is really simple to make.
These Frozen Cookie Dough Bites :
- Require no baking ;
- Are made with only 6 ingredients ;
- Have a high protein content (26g per serving) ;
- Are a fun and original frozen treat to recreate!
Ingredients (2 servings)
- 1/2 cup 0% fat greek yoghurt (we used natural)
- 2 tsp runny peanut butter
- 2 tsp sugar free syrup
- 1 scoop Limitless Pharma Whey Isolate Protein Powder
- 1/4 cup powdered peanut butter
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- Optional : flaky sea salt
Alternatives
To make this recipe even more accessible to you, we created a list of ingredient alternatives you can use.
- Instead of runny peanut butter, you can use : melted peanut butter OR any other runny nut or seed butter you like.
- Instead of sugar free syrup, you can use : any liquid sweetener works. Some great replacements are maple syrup, agave syrup, honey, date syrup, or even molasses.
Note we made this a 2-serving recipe, but you can totally enjoy the whole thing by yourself!
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, add the greek yoghurt, nut butter and liquid sweetener. Mix until well combined.
- Add the Isolate protein and powdered peanut butter. Mix until the powdered ingredients are blended into the mixture and there are no clumps left.
- Line a pan with parchment paper.
- Using a spoon, form 16 bite-sized balls and place them on the pan.
- Freeze for 1 hour.
- Before taking the bites out of the freezer, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave. Make sure you do this in multiple short times so you don't burn your chocolate.
- Take the bites of the freezer and drizzle some chocolate on each of them.
- Optional : sprinkle some flaky sea salt on top.
You can enjoy these protein bites now or place them in a tightly closed container and store them in the freezer to eat later.
